Der Artikel stellt ein übergreifendes integratives Modell für die Praxis der biopsychosozialen Diagnostik zur Diskussion, das sich in mehreren Etappen aus interdisziplinären Theorie- und Praxisentwicklungen der Integrativen Therapie herauskristallisiert hat. Es bietet einen Rahmen, der gleichzeitig klassifikatorische, biographische und lebensweltliche Aspekte der Diagnostik vereint und diese unter den Optiken der Salutogenese (Ressourcen und Potenziale) und Pathogenese (Problemlagen) reflektiert. Insbesondere die Ambivalenz von Komplexitätsgewinnung und Komplexitätsreduktion versucht das Rahmenmodell zu überwinden. Es eignet sich daher für verschiedenste therapeutische als auch beraterische und betreuende psychosoziale Settings.

Abstract: Biopsychosocial Diagnostics: How is that going specifically? Plea for an “integrative diagnostic understanding”

The article presents a comprehensive integrative model of the practice of biopsychosocial diagnosis for discussion. The model has evolved in several stages out of interdisciplinary theory and practice developments in Integrative Therapy. It offers a framework that both brings together classificatory, case history and lifeworld aspects of diagnosis and reflects upon them from the standpoints of salutogenesis (resources and potentials) and pathogenesis (problem situations). In particular, the model attempts to overcome the ambivalence of increasing and reducing complexity. It is therefore suitable for a wide variety of therapeutic, counselling and psychosocial care settings.
